September 2014 – loaded a 40-foot container of medical supplies and equipment to be sent to clinics in Voi and Mombasa, Kenya.
August 2014 – In partnership with Manna Relief, we provided six months of nourishment to 921 children in Papoli, Uganda.
July 2014 – Atutur Hospital in Uganda received a 40’ container of donated medical supplies and equipment from AFCA.
June and July 2014 – Five trainings in sewing feminine pads were held in various places in Zimbabwe so that young women can not only stay in school, but can also start a small business.
June 2014 – Livestock and garden pilot project started in Gemena, Democratic Republic of Congo.
June 2014 – 105 goats were distributed to 35 orphaned families in Matopos, Zimbabwe.
AFCA has been named as one of the top 20 HIV/AIDS foundations in USA! One of two organizations selected for the category of Global HIV/AIDS, everyone on the list was selected due to transparency, percentage of funds going directly to programs, amount of funds used for fundraising, among other criteria.
