Welcome to American Foundation for Children with AIDS
AFCA is a non-profit organization that helps HIV+/AIDS children and their guardians in sub-Saharan Africa who have no other access to aid. AFCA provides critical AIDS and related medications, medical equipment and supplies, nutritional supplements, and emergency supplies that are requested by the institutions in its targeted areas. Currently, AFCA is working in Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Climb Up So Kids Can Grow Up consists of four events which raise awareness and funds to support children with AIDS. Families, individuals, teams, children, adults, women and men are all invited to participate in one or more of these events.
Thanks to Nike for their generosity in supporting 13 Nike employees as they climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds and awareness for the kids in our programs through matching grants, donations, and gear.
T-Shirt Design Competition 2010
AFCA is hosting our first ever t-shirt design competition to run between May 1-31, 2010.
Knowing that we work in Africa, come up with a colorful, exciting, vibrant design for our organizational t-shirts.
Submissions received after May 31 will not be judged. Winner will be announced on June 15, 2010.
Designs will belong to the American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) once submitted.
